  • Blu 50 Years

    2024

    • Honored our first Watco Tanks' employee of 50 years of service. Andy "Blu" Morales started with Watco Tanks July 25, 1974.
    • Soon to be honrored for 50 years: 
      • Rudy Gonzales: Feb 17, 1975
      • Joe Deptawa: May 27, 1977
      • Albert Jefferson: Aug 4, 1977
        • Brother to first foreman, Ernest Jefferson
  • STI QUALITY AWARD 25-3

    2024

    • Awarded 25 years of the STI Quality Award
    • Given 8 yearly, unannounced inspections, Watco Tanks has never received a red mark for 25 consecutive years.
    • Both UL and STI inspect standards like welds, tags, paperwork, steel thickness, fiberglass milage, etc
    • In 2014 at the 15 consecutive year quality award, Watco Tanks was only 1 of 3 tank manufacturing companies to accomplish
    • 15 consecutvie years out of the 125 companies associated with STI

    • Awarded Largest Gallonage producer of STI Technologies in the United States (and 2nd largest in the world)
    • Over 5 million gallons built in 2021

    • Started Fabricating Permatanks
    • Watco Tanks (along with UL and STI) engineered several optional improvements that is value added for the customers
    • Our Latest design is wrapped in a 14 gauge metal, seal welded, blasted to a near white finish and coated with 100 mils Fiberglass.
    • Watco Tanks is the first and only know tank manufacture to offer the addeded value

    2003

    • Watco Tanks hosted over 65 TCEQ regulators for a learning tour of underground and aboveground tanks.
    • Watco Tanks has hosted other training and tours for government entities on mulitple occasions like Ewards Aquifer, Area Fire Marshalls, UL Inspectors
